You conveniently left out that they were voting to keep an existing law in Washington, DC ONLY that allowed non citizens to vote in LOCAL elections ONLY.

The DC city counsel passed the law in 2022. Non citizens or Illegals as you say, cannot vote in Federal elections. A federal court upheld the law in March.
