When I say these carbs are/were rough... the pillars for the floats are the least of my worries (and they are intact). I found that both throttle butterfly shafts are worn beyond use and one had a broken starter bar. The worst damage is that one has a broken manifold attachment flange. God know how they did that.
One linkage has the corrugated sheet metal joints, the other has the nylon u-joint blocks... one of which was broken. I already made one replacement nylon u-joint, and fixed the starter bar (I am spoiled having a hobby lathe and a mill). I am contemplating what to do about the carb body. Though I could replace the throttle shafts, I'll leave that for someone who needs the carbs and is willing to spend money on them.
I will probably never use these carbs but if I can fix them maybe it will be of use to someone someday. My friend's son-in-law is taking on a long term project to restore a GT6+. I thought he might be interested in these carbs if he doesn't find a nicer set during his hunt for parts.

Inspect them carefully. I've got 3 of 4 150 CD in my spares that have one of the two float mounting tabs broken off. Two of a freinds have the same problem. He was able to fix it with a small custom L bracket screwed into place
