Thanks Glen. I am going to print that out and study it at length. Frankly it sounds like what I did setting max cam lift at 110 ATDC on the crank is going to be close and confirming it with before and after peak checks should confirm that. However, I'd like to understand the other methods based on the beginning and ending intake angles so as I said, I will study your reply in more depth. The pushrods I am planning to use came out of the retired race engine. They are aluminum rods with hard bronze top and bottom caps. For the indicator I have an extension rod that screws onto my indicator giving it more reach rather than stacking lifters. Thanks again, Doug L.
