Early this season, a tree fell just upstream of the Forest St. / Orchard St. bridge between Mills and Medfield as indicated by the green line. I drove by this last weekend and noticed that just the very top branches, indicated by the box, was sawn off. The leaves a passage not more than a few feet wide between the trunk of the tree and the bank of the river. I haven't been out there in a boat so I do not yet know how passable it is.

The stretch from this bridge up to the rt 115 bridge has always had a number of trees down and at times certain spots are not passable.
