Well, my birthday is Saturday, and like every birthday, I go out and paddle somewhere. This coming Saturday I've decided to visit the Hunt River.

I'm not "leading" this paddle, but if you would like to join me you are welcome. The access is where Davisville Road crosses the river just south of Frenchtown Road...there are two pull-offs on the right on either side of the bridge, and I think both are usable (although the first one you come to, before the bridge, launches very close to the lip of the dam). Meet at 9:30 for a 10:00 am launch. Parking is limited. I plan to paddle up as far as the water and marsh growth will allow, and then turn around, maybe take a short break on the way back, and head back to the cars.

After we get back to the cars, Cindy and I plan on driving over to Tilted Barn Brewery, and anyone is also welcome to join us there as well!
