I'm sorry, but we have not been able to identify either the pattern or the potter of your lovely and interesting bowl. The feeling is it's American made - c. 1880's, but that's just a guess. Unfortunately, this is not unusual as many of these beautiful flow blue items were not labeled so we are unable to appreciate who made them.

A oouple of us will still keep our "eyes open" should some information turn up - which occasionally does happen. But for now, just enjoy it!

I'm not sure if you're interested, but the bowl could very possibly be professioanally restored (amazing what some of these folks can do!). I've personally used one in CT and I've heard there is a very good company in IL. Undoubtably many more also.
