It looks very professional and tasty.

I did! But I cheated and used frozen pie crust. :(

I do the same lol! I use a butter crust that tastes homemade. What kind of pie is it?

I make sweet potato pies and chocolate chess pies.

Pumpkin. What brand crust do you buy? I'm always looking for something without lard.

Nice! I will admit that pumpkin pie looks intimidating to make from scratch. I find sweet potato msg

pie easier? But maybe it's just what I'm used to.

Do you use can pumpkin puree or?

I use the brand "Williamette Valley All butter crust." It uses only butter, flour, sea salt, a little suger. Clean ingredients and packed lovely. You have to bake it prior to cooking a pie in it, but worth it.

I lucked out and was able to get it on clearance for $1, where it normally is $6! So I stacked up a lot of them for the future as I truly hate the process of making crust.

I just use canned pumpkin but you've got me wanting to try sweet potato. Thanks!
