I haven't sold anything on eBay since pre-covid, & decided to try again. I'm all signed up & have an item listed, but....I don't have a single view. I listed it on Sunday, & according to my eBay page, I have 0 views. I wouldn't be surprised at no bids, but no views has never happened to me before. The reason I'm questioning it is because the page showing no views has a "promote your listing" button right next to it, eBay wants $2.99 to promote it.
Is this some kind of scam? Is my listing being buried unless I pay eBay a fee? The whole thing seems strange to me.
