Hope everyone is well! I don't know if you all remember me but I used to make and sell doll clothes but had to stop because other stuff happened. But I'm slowly getting back into it again.
I finally was able to make some shoe soles out of resin-YIPPPEE!!!!!! I had a pair from some woman overseas where I just removed the soles from each pair of boots and made silicone moulds old of them. Now all I need to do is make the upper parts of the shoes. I'm going to try and include handmade shoes with all my ensembles. It's looking promising!
It's been a while since I've sold anything. Maybe about 5 years. I was a caretaker for my Mom and now my Dad. He's 89-90 in Halloween. He's not as complicated as Mom was. She had Alzheimer's. I also was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder about 5 years and that really has taken a toll on me. Once I had a panic attack for 4 days straight. But I've been on buspirone for about 3 years and my other depression medication has been adjusted so I don't feel suicidal these days, thank the Lord. I still have my bad days but not as much. But when Dad passes I don't plan on caregiving for anyone else. It's just too much of a toil. I have money from a settlement that I received from my Mom's death plus money from my Dad so I should be set for some time after he passes. Plus I have a ton of fabric so I'll probably never need to buy fabric again. I'm going to be trying some new things too. Maybe some exclusives for the doll boards I used to visit?
As for Covid, Me and Dad never did catch it(yet). We've both have gotten 4 shots because of our age, I can't believe I'll be 61 in August! I did have an Aunt on my Mom's side die from it but she had Crohns disease which made her high risk.
