No it won't play You tube. And it is not playing some of my sports web sites.
So I am glad that I only turned off uBlock and I didn't delete it.

I wasn't aware of this Google war on ad-blockers.
It is the reason why my Chromebook will not install those others. They will most likely be removed from the Web store soon.

So if anyone reading this doesn't have a uBlock ad-blocker in their Chromebook see if you can install this uBlock ad-blocker. It is still the best.
