When converting a Computer, specifically in my case my MacMini, when using a USB memory stick and downloading whichever Distro (Me would be Mint 21), does the site ask you where you want to download it to, the stick NOT the internal HD??

I just took MacOS Monterey's latest update 12.7.1, and I don't expect many more, and my machine can not go any further later MacOS wise, unless they to something to make it so :-)

Sorry for the OT folks :-)
