I still think it could be something TWD the line, their side, and even though I am a PacBell (SBC, now AT&T retiree), it would cost me $99 to have a repair tech do it. Now if it is something else and the new Modem does not fix it, it will be on them, and then no charge for a tech call out, but I also told the gal, if I then have to wait too many days like into NEXT WEEK, I will call Comcast Xfinity, and I'm sure to gain a new customer, they will be out the NEXT day. Would cost me a bit, maybe a lot more, because of our employee, retiree discounts.
Talking to a retiree friend of mine, he said, we aren't supposed to pay anything, said he'd fight that, but HOW. Was super dufficult just finally getting a rep on the phone this morning, going to the Twilight Zone a couple or three times, first.
