By the way, I am on my MAC, but using the PERSONAL HOTSPOT of my Smartphone, because our Internet (AT&T Uverse Internet), went down this evening. I called to my regret, having the most difficult time understanding the guy I am sure was in India, that strong of an accent.

He supposedly checked my line, saying looked fine, but does not see my GATEWAY, saying it is the Modem Router, but the apparently do not send techs out anymore, even though a retiree friend of mine had two replaced by TECHs.Anyway supposedly will receive a new one on Fri, by UPS or Fed Ex, and I am supposed to swap it out myself, Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I have no experience with that. Sure I replaced simple Motorola ones when I had just DSL, then connected MY OWN router, but these Uverse ones are way more complicated with much more to do, I am certain. Then what if he is wrong and it is SOMETHING ELSE???!!! I AM P$SSED :-)

Anyway, he may be correct, not seeing my GATEWAY, but I am still calling in the morning. I have what used to be a STATE SIDE # to call, hoping it is still good, and will raise some HELL, trying to get a TECH out.
