Coniston Meet April 19-21

Hi. I don't see any posts about this - is it still going ahead? If so, Cameron and I are interested, if there is room (I think Robert invited us when we were at Rhydd Ddu...).

Its still going ahead and I'm planning to go. Anthea and Karl are meet leaders, they will post something here soon.

We have 10 spaces subject to more, which I will sort out with Adrian.
So fare Karl & Anthea, John & Fiza, Robert, Cameron & Fergus, Michel & Bernie, John B, Isaac & Hannah. In Van Les & Dell..... Adrian Friday night... So fare 15 Friday night and 14 Saturday......

If you plane to go in your van, you do not need book a space in hut, according to Adrian....... But we still need to know numbers for meal!....... Any suggestions for theme for Saturday meal?

There are only 10 spaces available as a group of 15 are going as well as we are. If John and Fiza are going in van we will be OK with the group as it is......... We can not except any more people at les in vans.
I can make a reservation list.......... Adrian well go in YHA......

Hi Karl, Michelle and I can sleep in our van as long as we can go into the hut to shower, cook, eat etc.

If it is oversubscribed, members should get the priority - maybe Cameron and I can camp at the YHA? This is fine by us so long as we could hang out with you in the evenings.

No problem! We have Karl & Anthea (priority!) Fergus & Cameron, Isaac & Hannah, Robert, John B.
8 bunks needed, plus Les & Dell in van, Bernie and Michelle in van and John & Fiza, who have a van but haven't replied. I will camp if necessary and I go to the bottom of the list as I only want one night.
There will be a group of 10 or so from York MC there and the warden wants to keep 5 places for MAM members, so it will be busy.

Hi All, Anthea is not going to go! We have 13 peoble to cater for Saturday night. Would Italian meal be goo? You can also signe into WhatsApp group for Coniston which have been set up now.

It will be a very crowded hut meet with limited car parking. We are happy to pull out in order to make more space for people to stay in the hut. We are still away in Croatia until Wednesday of next week.

John & Fiza you do not need to as Bernie are coming up in van, we have enough beed room in hut..........
Food I think we should go for Italian, I can make a tomato sauce with paster and bits in. How many veggie do we have for meal? I also post on WhatsApp

Robert is doing garlic bread, Burnie is brining a salat but we can have a second one. maybe some olives and nibbles.

Hmm - I did suggest on 14 that Cameron and I brought garlic bread and a salad - and yesterday I purchased these things! However, it seems that we still need garlic bread so I will bring what I have anyway (including salad - it will keep if we don't eat it).

I will donate Szarlotka, a fruit crumble form Ewa. It only comes in one size, so there will be enough for all. It isn't gluten free, so any other dietary requirements may be required.

Robert are brining Garlic Bread, Dell & Les are brining veggie Pizzas for 8, Karl Paster with tomato sauce for 8, Burnie & Michal are brining Italian / Mediterranean salat for 8, John B is brining Szariotka for all. Som Olives and nibbles would be good........ Fergus & Cameron?
I think we are all there now, I will go up with Adrian Thursday evening and get lift back with Robert.

I just want to thank everyone (and whoever arranged the weather) for a very enjoyable weekend. Italian feast, good company and excellent views - what more could you ask for! (Robert, I just sent what we owe).
