After 28th March we can (legally!) meet in groups of 6 so it would be good to meet up for a short walk ( makes a change from Zooming!).
As Sunset is just after 7:30pm, and pubs are still closed I thought it might be good to meet for afternoon walks until April 12th.
After this it should be possible to get a (warm?) drink & (hot?) food sitting (on tables of 6!) outside pubs? (Bring your old Duvet Jacket!)
We could meet at the climbing crags/pubs from 13th April onwards- Beehive?
Anyway my suggestion for next Tuesday (30th) is to meet at Pym's Chair (SJ995 767) at 2pm and sort 2-3 walks following the 'Rule of Six'
Walk 1 (Easy) Shining Tor & back along the ridge - about 3 miles
Walk 2 (slightly harder) Head over Cat Tor then take the track heading East down towards Errwood Hall, and return via Foxlow Edge( ~4miles)
Walk 3 (harder) Along ridge to Shining Tor, return via Shooters clough, Errwood Hall and Foxlow Edge. (~5.5 miles)
Other walks are possible from Pyms Chair- eg via Thursbitch or Windgather
Anyone want to sort a walk/venue for 6th April ?
