I don't have voicemail set up, but I do have caller ID and I can tell who is calling. But my heart makes me answer. Most of the time.

If I've laid down for a nap, sometimes I just don't wake up to answer it. And Pattie, I agree. If I could just hear Mom or Dad or Emilee just once more...so most of the time, I answer. It's hard not to when I know she's in tears the whole time.

Her poor son...how depressing it would be. I sent her a song her husband used to sing for her. Gene called and asked me not to do that again, I guess she began sobbing and kept it going til she wore out and went to sleep. I feel bad when I don't answer...
