I'm just being a "Devil's advocate" here, but you were only exposed to one faith - christianity. Catholic, mormon, and protestant are all just different varieties of the same faith - belief in Jesus Christ. Exposure to different religions would include Islam, Buddhisn, Hinduism, and a variety of pagan religions.
