My Dad took me to most every Christian church on the West Coast because he wanted to find the right church for him, and he wanted me to know for sure which one would be right for me. I loved seeing the different nuances in the different faiths. All the movies I'd watched as a child and a teen, portrayed the Catholic church and I found it beautiful. I remember especially the film about St. Bernadette, how she saw the Mother Mary. I was strongly thinking of becoming a nun. By the time I was a teenager, I'd moved back to Utah. I was dating a Catholic boy and a Mormon boy. I chose the faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; the Missionary boys came and taught me over a period of time, and my Cousin and two of her siblings and I was all baptized at the same time. Yes, I know studying it all out helped me immensely.
