I've always loved the stars. Dad showed me hot to find the big dipper and the little dipper. I saw Halley's comet when it went by. My vision had really begun to dim by then. But on a clear night we have fantastic stars. I wish I'd learned all the constellations.
I remember going up on the sandrock cliffs south of Moab with a good friend (boyfriend, not romantic--) and laying on our backs and looking at all those fantastic stars. His name was John Wayne Reid.
