As a PA you can perform whatever procedures that is within the scope/practice of your supervising physician. However, only anesthesiologists, AAs, and CRNAs may receive reimbursement from the government for performing anesthesia. This right there will most likely preclude you from practicing anesthesia as a PA because you cannot get paid for it.
