I was just wondering what helpful tips current Nova students could give on where the best place to live would be considering price, quality, safety, etc. I really liked what I saw from Grove East on Broward and State Road 7 (right next to Plantation General). My two concerns about the place would be safety and distance from the school. When I was in town Broward road didn't seem like the nicest place, and when we have to go on month long clinicals, I wanna be sure my wife is in a safe location. Second, is 15 minutes too far from school? I know that's kind of subjective question, but I'm just wondering if you current students think that would be a hassle, especially when I assume there will be lots of late nights in the library and mock OR. However, if many of our days start out at various hospitals in the area, maybe proximity to the school isn't the most important thing. All your thoughts are welcomed. THANKS!
