Hey Kerry,
It sounds like you would be a good candidate. You have really good gre scores, but your gpa is a little low. It might be a good idea to finish the biology degree if you think it will help your gpa. Also I think it would look really good if you worked as an anesthesia tech for a while. However, jobs are hard to come by these days. I would try to get some kind of medical exposure in addition to shadowing. I would definitely advise applying to both Emory and South next year and get your application in as soon as possible. I would have everything ready to submit as soon as the application process opens.
