    Advice for next year? Archived Message

    Hi Everyone!

    I'll keep it short, but I'd like everyone's advice.

    I applied (only) to Emory, got an interview, but was not accepted. I got the letter yesterday.

    What should I do now? I'd still REALLY like to be an AA.

    Stats:
    GPA - 3.02
    GRE - 620v, 700q, 5.5 writing
    Undergrad - Education

    This semester I'll finish my pre-reqs.

    Should I finish my biology degree?
    Should I get experience in the OR as a tech if possible?
    Is there any kind of medical experience that is better than another kind?
    Should I try again in a year and apply to South AND Emory? (probably)

    I'm married, 4 kids, thus leaving GA isn't an option.

    If there is more information that would be helpful for me to give, let me know.
