I am very excited about attending the NOVA program. I visited the AA program at NOVA a couple of week's ago while on vacation. I had the opportunity to meet with one of the instructors and he showed me the labs (they were great.) The program has it's own area in, what seemed like, a strip mall. It is actually a good location because the labs, offices, classrooms, and lounge are all housed, in essence, like a separate school. Two other bonuses are that the bookstore is at the corner of the strip mall and a restaurant/bar is right next door.
My understanding about the applications is that the admissions department received about 200 applicants last year and only 40 - 50 students are admitted.
