I also visited schools and I found it very helpful. You learn a lot about the people you'll be dealing with and the culture of the program. The Emory culture is much more formal while the culture at South seems much more relaxed. I didn't get a good feel for Nova because they were on break while I was there so I only got to speak with some of the admin. Honestly though, all of the programs are good and you will have the same degree and get the same jobs no matter which one you choose. For me, the main factor in choosing a school is deciding where I want to live.
