Wow! I cannot believe that this message board is only full of messages fighting back and forth over who has a better title. I came to this web site to see what people could be discussing, hoping it was about the schools or the medical field...not a bunch of bickering. I would rather see a lot more info from people that are currently enrolled in or have graduated from these programs. These bickering messages are useless. I am in the healthcare field bc I enjoy it! I want to go for the AA program bc I found out that I really enjoy the OR & it is less time consuming than med school. I think that it does not matter if you are a CRNA or an AA, as long as you are competent in your field of study and provide excellent patient care. What is w/ all the fighting? If all you have to do is constantly log into this message board to start fights and arguments w/ people to try and prove you're better than them, what does that say about you? I personally wouldn't want someone like that taking care of me in the hospital, bc you don't care about what you do....only the title. Everyone deserves respect in their positions bc I don't know about the hospitals that you work at, but where I work everyone works as a team to provide excellent care including: MDs, RTs, RNs, Radiologists, Techs, Lab techs, etc. We all have our different roles to do and all rely on one another. Shouldn’t this site be discussing AAs as a career, the schooling, and medical news??? If you are a CRNA, what possesses you to come to this site and start an argument of “I’m better than you”? I know plenty of CRNAs and AAs that work well together. It must be a personality thing. C’mon everyone, lets get back to what this site was supposed to be for & keep the petty bickering out of it. We’re all healthcare providers or those who aren’t will be. What’s w/ the personal vendettas? Does it make you feel better after typing a snide comment in? I may be young, but I’m old enough to realize a lot of these comments are childish. If you have gone through the schooling and provide excellent care, then you deserve the same respect as the person next to you.
