You dont need to take classes to get your CNA. Dont waste your time or money. Just look over the information online and take the exam. Most of the things are common sense and the other part is just knowing how to move patients and administer proper patient care. I looked into doing it as well but if you are not going to work as one then why bother. Just because you have the certification doesnt mean much if you dont have work experience to back it up. During clinical hours you are going to have to be doing cna tasks anyways.
If you really want to shadow anesthesia providers, then dont tell them you are doing AA. Just get your exposure, they dont need to know your plans. It's not right for them to turn you down because you chose AA instead, but if they want to be unjust then play their game.
