The NCCAA(our certification board) recognizes AMA Category 1 credit so, we can attend any conference that an anesthesiologist can. The AAAA did have a conference that AMA credits a few years ago. I think it usually just offers PA credit, though. As for offering Nursing CE's, well it really wouldn't help and wouldn't be worth the hassle. I know that I and several others AA's have attended conferences put on by Northwest Anesthesia and other such businesses.
