    Hi WC

I agree with you 100%. That most CRNAs believe that AA-Cs are competent anesthetist. But I'm also going by the majority of the CRNAs on this AA web site.

Who constantly repeats that AAs/AA-Cs have no ICU experience. Or they only have roughly 30-35 years of experience. Which makes AAs/AA-Cs incompetent anesthetist.

Another smoke screen when it comes to fear and competition from negative CRNAs only. I have two friends who are in CRNA school now as we speak. And one who is already practicing as a anesthetist(CRNA). Who I really consider my best friend. None of them have never heard of a AA or AA-C before. My best friend that is now practicing as a anesthetist(CRNA) may now have heard of AAs or AA-Cs now. Then again maybe not.

Even where I work just last week I told two of my anesthesia doctors(MDA). That I was going to the ASATT annual educational conference meeting. In San Francisco, California next month in October 2007.

One of my doctor said. Oh you talking about the ASA(American Society or Anesthesiologist MDA).In San Francisco, CA next month. I reply by saying no ASATT (American Society Of Anesthesia Technologist&Technician). Which is also in San Francisco, CA with the ASA conference too.

They both reply by saying that's great DC I didn't even know you had a society as a Anesthesia Technician or Technologist. I reply by saying yes we do. A lot of MDAs,R.N.s,RRTs,CNAs,CCPs,HCTs,STs etc.

Are unaware that anesthesia technicians and technologist have a society. We also have our own schools(six in the nation), magazine, educational conference meetings every year. We are well educated and know a lot more than people think. Again lack of education and communication.

The ASATT and ASA both have there annual conference meeting in the same city on the same week every year. Our guest speakers are MDAs,CRNA,CER.Anesthesia Technician, and a Corporation speaker. Last year we(ASATT&ASA) were in Chicago 2006

Not to get off the subject. But you right it is about $money when it comes to the majority of CRNAs on here that's all they talk about is $$$money(revenue) and independent practice. This is the reason why I have no respect for most CRNAs on this AA web site. There forgetting that the patient comes first. Something I never hear them talk about. With the exception of only one CRNA on here. He does talk about and focus on patients. That's what's most important. I have a lot of respect for him as a CRNA.

My opinon if your only in it for the money, then your in the wrong profession. Meaning you need to find a new career. True we need money to survive but it shouldn't the only reason why you wanted to become CRNA,AA-C,MDA. Do it because it's your passion and you love your job.

My Attention is really focus on the negative CRNAs who comes on this AA web site. Good day
