    With the proper use of universal precautions it should not be a problem for the patients, which is the main concern.

    For yourself, you do not want to do anything to worsen your liver condition. Always make sure the waste gas evacuator system works like it is suppose to. Use of needle-less IV systems would be a very wise to reduce the chance of a needle stick. Also give up alcohol for the rest of your life and get the Hep A vaccine. Ask your doctor, but a liver function test once a year may also be a good idea in order to catch any problems early.

    Other than that, I do not see anything you would have to do different. I do not see Hep B as a reason to be excluded from the anesthesia career field. Good luck...
