    That is a tough question and I'll tell you what I know--but I believe it changes a lot from year to year. For the entering class of 2006 at Emory, there was around 350 applicants, and they took around 40 people I believe. For 2007 however, they only had around 110 applicants (I cant remember the number they told us during the interview, someone please correct me if I am off), they interviewed around 100 people, and they accepted 48. South usually receives around 125/150 applications, interviews around 60, and accepts 25 or so. Nova had over 300 applications this year, and I have no idea how many interviews they did, but I believe they accept 30-35.

    I got the majority of this info from my advisor who made a few phone calls for me, but some of it came from interviews, too.
