Thanks Frank. Yes, I am also applying to PA schools. I am not familiar with the cardiology perfusionist career, but I will research it.
There is also a good chance that we will be stationed at Fort Stewart, just south of Savannah, Ga. I'm hesitant about becoming an AA since we are at the army's discretion for 4 years, however, there is always the chance of working at the on post hospital or being stationed in Georgia, etc.
For those who are already AAs, or who are in school, what kind of job offerings are you getting? Are most states where AAs are licensed hiring AAs?
Frustrating, but I wish I could find a way to make it work. Its such a great career. Thanks for everyone's input.
