@FutureAA: I am going to take my GRE the first time next month. After preparing for the quant section for almost two months now, I can conclude that it is not going to be a piece of cake. I can totally understand your frustration. But hey, GRE is not the ultimate deciding factor for admission committee. The take home message from your scenario is your TRIED and still hasn't given up
. This is what matters/counts. Do not give up. I know of a kid who had a 3.9 science GPA, three years of health care experience, pretty solid shadowing experience. He was rejected two years in a row. Reason? nobody knows. He never got an answer from any of the schools? So, the moral of the story, never give up and keep fighting till the end. You never know what is in store for you.
