Just wanted to know how many of you have started applying? Have you already taken the GRE or will be going to? Any insights on the GRE from those of you who have taken it?

Nova graduate schools in general have a specific requirement that made my bachelors unacceptable. The AA program has to abide by those rules.... bummer

I am planning to re-take the GRE later this month for the 5th (that's right, FIFTH) time. I don't know what the problem is, but I haven't been able to score higher than the 44th percentile on the quantitative section. How did you guys do on the GRE? What did you use to study? If I can't raise it to the 60th percentile (minimum), then AA school is out the window for me and I'll have no choice but to pursue a career as a CRNA.
I'm at my wit's end with this...

@FutureAA: I am going to take my GRE the first time next month. After preparing for the quant section for almost two months now, I can conclude that it is not going to be a piece of cake. I can totally understand your frustration. But hey, GRE is not the ultimate deciding factor for admission committee. The take home message from your scenario is your TRIED and still hasn't given up . This is what matters/counts. Do not give up. I know of a kid who had a 3.9 science GPA, three years of health care experience, pretty solid shadowing experience. He was rejected two years in a row. Reason? nobody knows. He never got an answer from any of the schools? So, the moral of the story, never give up and keep fighting till the end. You never know what is in store for you. Best of luck..!!!!

Try the MCaT, you may score a higher percentile. Also, I have my doubts about minimum GrE percentiles so long as the rest of your application is outstanding. Once again it's the whole package, and there are certain aspects and personality traits that work well in this profession. Sme things can't be taught, and there should be more to you than a percentile #.

There are regionally and nationally accredited programs and mine is nationally which Nova does not allow for their graduate schools
