It's not the question that I had an issue with, it's your resoning behind it. Let me ask you this (because I'm sure you haven't thought of it). What are you going to say when they ask you why you need to take a break during a typical work day? Do you have a child to pick up from school because you are a single parent? Are you a provider for someone disabled? I'd love to be there to hear the reaction when you ask a potentional employer that "I'm just used to my carefree college days and want to live that way indefinitly". I sure as hell wouldn't hire anyone like that - especially since the sad fact is another anesthetist can easily replace you and do your job equally as good. It's not like you are doing anyone a favor just showing up for work. You're there to do your job, and not complicate the charge anesthetist's life. FYI, I don't know anybody in any industry that would pay full time salary for 25-30 hours of work. It just dosn't make sense, and won't last as new graduates come along who actually have an ounce of ambition.
