Some of you kiddies need to get a grip and grow up. Nobody owes you anything - you're not applying for welfare and food stamps here. Each program has an idea of what type of applicant they want to accept. YOUR standard and YOUR idea of what is important and what's not, or what's desirable or what's not, DOESN'T COUNT FOR SQUAT!!!!!
Like it or not, a 2.7 from Georgia Tech or Duke or Vandy will be worth FAR MORE than a 3.4 from Valdosta State or West Georgia College. After 40 years, Emory and Case have a really good idea of which applicants will be successful. Clearly you're not one of those applicants. Get over it, improve your application if you're able and try again if you haven't already, and move on with your life.
