I would suggest taking the MCAT to supplement the GRE as it is a much harder test. It seems if you can do moderately decent on it then you would be just as competitive as those who have done really well on the GRE. From the looks of it, it seems like Emory will take the MCAT in replace of the GRE and since most applicants don't take that test they may or may not have set standards for scores regarding it. Just a thought. I also suggest completing a Master's. I'm currently finishing up a MS in Biomedical Sciences that functions more as a bridge to medical school. Personally I've decided I don't really want to attend medical school ergo I'll be going to Case in June for their AA program.
