**NEWS FLASH***
"my issues with my application are academic"...no shiz Sherlock! But Guess what!? AA SCHOOL IS ALL ACADEMIC (it doesnt matter where you are learning it-in the classroom or in the OR)!! And to top it all off..... (wait for it.......wait for it.......) Physics IS on the certification Exam! =) Halle-freakin-lujah!!!
So unless you dramatically change your Academics -no matter how much (or in your case) how little patient contact healthcare experience you have...it's not going to matter. This profession just isnt for some people. Some people cant handle it academically. A "D" in physics for a multiple time tells me and others and admissions committees that you have neither the intellect nor the drive to get here. If you did, as other posters have pointed out, you would have spent every free minute of your time trying to get an A. You would have been in your professors office getting the help you needed. Or paying a tutor. Or whatever it may be. Instead you didnt-and thats exactly the point Im making-that you simply do not (at this time) have what it takes to make it through AA school. I know because Ive actually done it.
