i just don't get why having C's in physics (if u don't look at the retake) and a low GRE quant score makes some people say, OH HELL NO YOU DON'T HAVE ANY RIGHT TO GET INTO AA SCHOOL when there have been other applicants who have posted on this same message board over the last few years who were even less competitive than myself and yet still got accepted.
honestly, i think part of the newfound elitist attitude that a lot of students and AA's seem to have nowadays is due to the fact that it is supposedly a lot more competitive to get into AA programs than it was before (according to some on this site). basically, people in the profession are acting more picky regarding who "should" get accepted because they can afford to.
i thought about something funny not too long ago. look at the average student who gets accepted to CRNA programs....most of them have even lower GRE scores than i have (at least 100 points lower at most schools) and even lower GPA. and on top of that, the vast majority if not all CRNA programs don't require ANY physics classes. so please, someone, anyone tell me, how do the vast majority of CRNAs safely practice anesthesia despite having no physics background at all?
