Medical writer vs. Pharm tech?

I have been offered a position as a freelance medical writer at a local hospital, and I also have the opportunity to take a PRN position as a pharmacy tech. For a re-applicant, which form of work experience do you think will look better to the admissions committees? Being a pharm tech involves a slight degree of patient contact, but it's rudimentary work, for the most part. On the other hand, there isn't any patient contact (that I know of) involved in being a medical writer, but it's much more intellectually oriented with medicine.
