As I've noted numerous times, the programs really do look at the whole application package. I can tell you right now that people get in with <3.0 GPA's and have made up for it in other parts of their application. Numbers simply do not tell the whole story on anyone. The same things go for applicants for school as they do for job applicants. Which is the better applicant - 3.8 GPA, great test scores, zero healthcare experience - or 3.2, married with kids, fair test scores, but 5 years working full time as an RT while finishing pre-reqs. Both are actually great applicants in my book. |
