Why not just replace the entire CRNA population threatening to leave with AA's? Perhaps CRNA's are afraid that if the AA profession were to gain popularity and recognition amongst practice settings nationwide, they would lose a vast amount of people going to nursing school just to become a CRNA. More and more people would question why they would ever want to go to a joke nursing program in order to administer anesthesia when they have the option take a more direct path that gets to the same place. With the increasing number of CRNA mills opening it seems as though CRNA's will soon become a dime as dozen. Hopefully as the AA population increases and sets itself apart with its top tier graduates who could have easily gone to medical school, there will be some balance to this nonsense.
