I don't like the WiFi turning itself on by itself because I don't know if it has been running down the battery in sleep mode or not. And I'm at home most of the time so don't need the phone to be looking for available WiFi because I have available WiFi at home.

I'm beginning to think it might have something to do with the newly updated TracFone app I installed or updated recently, which has some kind of WiFi optimizer function that the options can't be changed on.
