Just remembering when it was so cold in hawaii and so hot in the UK and then we found out it was actually still colder in the UK...

Me in the park this morning in shorts and tshirt: OK I know this is super British but it's so hot today!

My friend: tell me about it. I've had to take my shoes off cause they're the only thing left I can still remove.

Me: this is ridiculous. What is it, like 20 degrees?

Friend: I think it's more like 17

Me: (checks). It's 16

(that's just under 61F for you Americans)

I'm too acclimatised to drizzly cold England (it was a sunny morning today. We're not used to sun)
