This year has been so crazy. I love to travel. I've been lucky for many years, working in the travel industry. So this has stopped almost everything for me. Travel, especially to other countries, is part of my social life; one friend or another would say let's fly here or there, and we'd go.
I'm in the US, and who knows when we will ever be welcome into another country. I can't blame other countries for not wanting us, especially since we can't even do something as simple as wearing a mask. I wouldn't have a problem not traveling if it were safe to get together with friends. Zoom and meetings in the park are just not cutting it anymore.
I just wish this virus would disappear (even if it would make our idiot in office right.)
