And my opinion is my opinion, it's not meant to be a dig at anyone else. I haven't read all of the stuff you have posted lately, I wasn't commenting on that specifically. I have some catching up to do on that.
I have read other stories by authors I like where it has been presented as "normal" or maybe it has even been joked about. When that happens I just ignore that tiny detail and focus on the part of their story that I like. I am not going to make a big deal out of it and call them out on it. I do realise that many come from different cultures than mine where it is legal, and I am not going to argue with anyone over it. If that is the culture and mentality a person has grown up with, then I don't find it surprising if they think differently.
It is a touchy topic, but I always make it known where I stand on this. Just because it is so important to me.
