I think that the health insurance companies are a huge drain on the US health budget. There are over 1,000 health insurance companies in the US with each company's president, vice-president, senior analysts, etc. each having multi million dollar salaries. I remember when there were only a handful(?) of health insurance companies in the US.
And I could go on and on about the drug companies!
