Currently 69 headed to 73 on a partly cloudy day.

Had to follow up on one of the phone calls from yesterday. What a mess. Insulin pens are good for 28 days once they are opened. They stay refrigerated until used. Les gets his in one box of 5 pens and it lasts for almost 5 months. When the pharmacy filled his last prescription, they marked it as being for a year so it's too soon to refill. Whoever filled it calculated how much he uses and for the pens not having a 28-day use limit so I couldn't refill it. The pharmacy said they couldn't change it and I had to call the insurance company. Insurance company can't change it either. The girl at the insurance came up with a work around but it requires the doctor sending in a new prescription so they are requesting that, and we will be moving this to mail order instead of the local pharmacy.
