Joe, you are spot on. Remember Bob Henkel? He is still with us, living alone in Pasadena, 84 years old and in 'ok' health. 2 years ago we talked and I convinced him that we should do an Operation Lifeline together and he agreed. Every morning he texts me and I know he is ok. He is literally a hermit, only goes out to buy groceries.
I have a lot of good memories of us playing golf together in the various police tournaments.
