All to often recently we are learning of the loss of friends, former co-workers and associates. We spent so much of our lives together but after retirement tend to lose track. In recent weeks I have talked to several friends that I had neglected due to life circumstances and felt so much better after our conversations. It was like we never lost track. I had lunch with another old friend and it was so great that it was like we were still working together. Yesterday I got a random phone call from an old and good friend we talked for probably an hour and it was like we were still working together.
I suddenly realized that I need to do a better job in staying in touch. It meant a lot to me and I believe they felt the same way.

Life is short and we should take the opportunity to reach out when we can. My number has probably changed in the 32 years I have been retired but you want to reconnect message me.
